Family Support

Stepping into the world of Home Education can feel overwhelming, especially if it hasn’t been your first choice.

For many families, it comes after a long and difficult journey, often involving children with complex needs.

That’s why community matters so much.

We’ve created a welcoming space where you can connect with others who truly understand — a place to share the highs and lows, chat over a cup of tea, and find a sense of belonging without judgment.

Many of the families in our community have turned to Home Education as a last resort. They arrive needing not only practical support and information, but also compassion, reassurance, and time to adjust.

We offer social spaces for parents to come together, build connections, and explore what Home Education can look like — with care and confidence.

We also offer a monthly programme of hands-on workshops for parents, covering a wide range of Home Education topics, from navigating exams and legal responsibilities to managing transitions between primary and secondary stages, and exploring different educational philosophies and approaches.

These sessions are more than just informative; they provide a welcoming, safe space for parents to connect, ask questions, and become part of our community. They also allow us to gently signpost families to additional support and resources when needed.
