Research Hub
We are proud to be working in partnership with researchers at the University of Southampton through the ACoRNS Research Network — a national initiative bringing together families, communities and academic researchers to better understand neurodivergence, wellbeing and inclusive ways of living and learning.
This collaboration creates meaningful opportunities for families in our community to contribute to research that explores what autistic and neurodivergent children, young people and families need in order to thrive. Research areas include neurodivergence, wellbeing, identity, relationships, support systems and experiences outside traditional pathways.
Families may be invited to take part in:
Focus groups or interviews
PhD and postgraduate research projects
Sharing lived experiences to help shape more informed, compassionate research and practice
Our involvement helps ensure that neurodivergent voices — and the voices of families with real, lived experience — are heard in academic spaces. Crucially, this work is shaped with our community, not just about it.
If you’re a family interested in getting involved, or a researcher who would like to work collaboratively with our network, we’d love to hear from you.
