The Friday Lab Club

Our Friday Lab Club sessions offer a welcoming space for teens and their families, with a focus on confidence, connection, and community.

There’s time to socialise in a supportive environment, plus optional activities based on our Friday Lab projects this year, exploring Korea, Brazil and the UK democratic system, as well as creative, art-based activities connected to what we are learning about in project time.

Friday Mornings
For ages 12-17
9.30am-12.30am

Led by a curiosity about the world around us, we explore the food, language, politics, cultures, history and geography of the amazing world we live in.

From baking Stone Age bread to debating the pros and cons of parliamentary democracy, from weaving and clay work to working on the allotment and writing music together, we enjoy each others company, build skills and confidence, and shape our projects around what our young peoples’ interests.

Membership is £30 per session, which includes volunteer time, all materials, visitors, trips and visits, and parent space, plus refreshments, biscuits, teas and coffees.
